If the officer asks if you have been drinking?
Do not admit to drinking any amount of alcohol. Tell them you would not like to answer the question.
If the officer asks you a question like “I’d like to ask you to get out of the car.” what do you do?
This is not a demand, the officer is simply doing this determine if you will stumble or exhibit signs of intoxication.
If the officer does demand you exit you vehicle so that he can perform roadside evaluations.
Let the officer know that you aren’t familiar with these tests and would not like to perform them on the side of the road and you would like to stay in your car.
